I really want to go visit Iceland, but I want to be able to speak and get around in their language. I want to go there for about a month. Won't be for a few years (after I graduate college). I have just registered with the university of iceland's free icelandic course to get the basics, but I do feel it is more effective learning in person.
I also know a litte (but not fluent) of German.

I have zero experience with Chinese. I am a sales professional who is rather bored working and living in the US and would like to move to shanghai or hong kong. Having a grasp of the language is something i feel would be a good start seeing how many employers find this a plus.

I speak no Vietnamese at all. My brother is marrying a Vietnamese woman next summer. She speaks English, but most of her family does not, so I'd like to learn some basic conversationa l Vietnamese by next June. I speak French and have studied several other European languages, but no Asian languages. An in-person class or tutor would be best, but I'd also try an online course, as long as I'd get some kind of feedback about my pronunciation and intonation.

I'm interested in learning French in order to be more marketable in my field of study. Currently I am attending college, but would like to pursue my language outside of the university in my free time. I have never taken any French classes and would be starting from the very begginging. I would like to dedicate a significant amount of time to learning French, yet my available time can be a little sparse from sememster to semester depending on my course load.
