I am an anglophone, and have studied French in the past, and enjoyed it very much. I would be studying Hungarian at the beginner level. This would be out of personal interest. I am interested in conversation, learning the alphabet/phon etic system, grammar, reading and writing. I would like to become fluent, but I realize that the pronunciation would be difficult. As far as the number of hours per week, the more hours per week, the better. However, that would depend on how expensive the lessons might be. I am willing to do lots of homework. I would like to work with a teacher who loves the language and enjoys teaching it, so that overall, it would be an enjoyable experience.

I would like to re-learn how to speak Hungarian. When I was 3 I lived in Hungary for a year and picked up the language very quickly, I was speaking fluent by the time I came back to Canada, the only problem was my mother did not speak Hungarian so my father did not keep it up with me and I forgot all but a few words. I am Hungarian by descent and I am very embarassed that I cannot speak my own language. I am very dedicated to learning the language and will put forth 100% to learn it. Please let me know where you teach,when you teach and how much you charge.

I am a complete beginner. I wish to learn Hungarian in order to be able to communicate better with people when I go to the country. I would like to spend perhaps one or two classes per week learning. Honestly this is depending on what I can afford! But I am very keen to learn and practice and am looking for a teacher is both patient and encouraging. Some teaching experience would be great, as this is an entirely new language for me and I could use a structured approach.
