I want to read, write, speak and listen in Arabic fluently for work or personal reasons. I am a beginner, can read a little bit the Qur'an as a muslim but don't know meaning and have to look up translation in my native language (Creole), English or French. I think I need to improve my conversationa l skills to be able to speak and listen to people well. I can dedicate around 3 hours each week for Arabic language training and would like a teacher who can tailor the course according to my strengths while also making me better understand Islam, my religion.

Hello language teachers of Arabic, my name is Eid Waber. I am very interested to learn Arabic for the main purpose of understanding the Quran. I am currently learning how to read the Quran. The extent of my knowledge is the alphabet as far as my experience is concerned. i am looking forward to learning grammar and conversationa l material. I am very eager to begin learning as soon as possible. Among wanting to understand the Quran in its Arabic form I would eventually like to travel abroad one day, so this would be of great use. I am currently a college student, however I am willing to put in the dedication and time to be successful with your guidance. Also as far as qualities I am looking for in a teacher, they include experience, confidence, patience, understanding , being supportive, and the ability to explain concepts in different ways. I am looking forward to getting started in good time.
