I want to start learning spanish because i have been told that it can be very useful if i would like to do business in the states. I have not started learning because of the fact that i cannot seem to find a person or a group that offers to teach spanish. If i can master this language then it would be excellent for me when i transfer schools. The school i am determined to move to offers bahasa indonesia, mandarin, spanish and french. Although i can speak bahasa indonesia and mandarin, i do not wish to take those languages as a subject. I am looking for a teacher who will be patient and who will motivate me as i tend to give up easily.

My ex was Mexican and so I became interested in learning spanish and also some of my hispanic/lati n friends told me that I should learn spanish since almost half of the world speak the language. I used to live in LA, CA too but haven't get a chance to learn spanish. So now I wanna learn spanish hoping to be able to at least have a good conversation with spanish speakers. I am a very beginner in spanish language. I'm looking for a native speaker teacher preferably from latin americans (but I will consider spain or latin europeans too).

Dear Teachers,
My name is Julia, and I am interested in learning Spanish privately.
I took Spanish when I lived in Texas, but it has been more than 10 years now, so I believe I will have to start from the very basic level.
I'd like to focus on speaking and listening, and I can probably meet 2 times a week for 2 hours. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia, specifically in the cipete / kemang area.
This is purely for personal reasons, so I'd like to learn phrases and functions for socializing. I need someone motivating and fun, and would love to learn something that I can apply immediately.
I hope to hear from someone soon as I would really like to start asap.
