I have currently just started my 5th year at school, and am wanting to take a year out next year before I go to University. In this year I am intending to study Mandarin Chinese.
At University I am wanting to study International Business and I feel that being able to speak some Chinese will benifit me in my future career.
I am looking for a full-time (or more or less full time) class for beginners situated in Glasgow where I can learn Mandarin Chinese after I finish my 5th year at school.
If you are/will be running or even know of a class that fits my discription it would be most appreciated if you could contact me as I am having great difficulties finding a suitable course.

I have no experience of Mandarin but have been thinking about learning it for some time.
I work in financial services and although I have no need of Mandarin at the moment I would like to be in a position to utilise it in the future.
The fact that it is the most spoken language in the world appeals to me as well.
Iw ould like to spend- hours per week on study.
I would like patience from my teacher as the nature of the language may take some getting used to.
