Description Hi. I am interested in learning Japanese with the ultimate long term goal of becoming fluent. I have learned a little on my own using books and YouTube videos. I think I would benefit from interacting with a teacher and being able to ask questions and have in person help. I prefer weekend lessons if possible, because of my work schedule. I would like my lessons to start with the basics and work up from there.

Description I have always dreamed of being able to fluently speak Japanese.. I'm so determined, but I just can't stick to a book or CD.. Always been too restless and free spirited for a classroom setting.
I would love to learn by just having conversations , and learning in segments. Taking notes, and with some repetitive writing homework assignments maybe best based on what we covered in each session.
I know that going to Japan and immersing myself in the language and culture completely would be the funnest and fastest way for me to learn, but it's not possible for me right now.
I have been to Japan, and I absolutely loved it..!!
I would be very happy just to have conversations , I've been told my accent is good, and I know a lot of words. Being able to put it all together properly, and learning more of course would be great! I would say I'm a high level beginner! Lol
In my opinion, I feel like writing could come later. But I would like to start familiarizing myself with it!

I would dedicate an hour or two a day if I could afford it.. But for now, one hour lesson a week maybe would be good and maybe with homework assignments.
I struggle financially, so I would like a teacher who is flexible and would be willing to work with me.

I am very passionate about this! Going to school for biological oceanography soon, and my dream is to do research in Japan someday on the seas and help coral reefs and aquatic life, as well as on land ^_^
A good quality teacher for me would be patient and have a good sense of humor, who loves to talk!

Description I began studying Japanese in my final year of high school. Since then, I have been learning on my own with little success. I know hiragana, most katakana, and very few kanji. I will be going on trips to Japan through my life, and I would like to speak, read, and write as fluently as possible.

Description Hello, I have been interested in East Asian languages since I was in 6th grade, particulary Japanese. I would like to have some type of career or profession that involves having this skill. I also love asian culture and actually enjoy speaking Japanese and Chinese.
Im pretty much a beginner when it comes to writing but i have pretty good pronunciation and, with words and phrases i do know, i understand the structure of a basic conversation. I feel what i need is a very structured learning system so that i can progress collectively adding to what i know so that i actually learn the language and retain what i learn.I could dedicate MONDAY-FRIDAY ANY TIME for the lessons. I would like for the teacher to have fluent lessons that consistently build upon previous lessons and lessons that touch on relaxed real world conversations , for instance; i wouldnt want my first lesson to be on asking a japanese person how to get to the airport but more relaxed conversation like 'where did u buy that shirt? its cute' or 'do we have class today?'
