I have done business in China for 6+ years, and i want to learn the language. I would be considered a beginner and I would prefer to focus on business context, speaking and listening. Reading and writing can come later. I need a teacher who understands that Americans are not conditioned for tonal language, and to simplify the process for learning.

Im learning because I work with Developmental Disable individuals that do not speak and would like to teach and communicate with them. Im not skilled and will be a beginner and would like for my children to learn as well. Right now I would dedicate 2 days a week Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully to hold a conversation and to be able to teach another individual.

My wife and I are looking for a Beginner Mandarin tutor for our 5 year old son. We are interested in having our son learn the basics of the language and basic conversation. We are looking for tutoring for 2-3 hours a week and are looking for someone who works well with kids and can make learning fun and interesting.
