I worked in Slovenia for four years until 2005 but although I have a basic, passive knowledge never mastered the language, partly because everyone seemed to speak the languages I know: English, German and Italian! Now I am married to a Slovene I think I should make a bigger effort and being 'retired' have the necessary time (and inclination!) to devote to it. Reading newspapers and above all conversation are my main requirements.

Hi. My husband and I are planning to move to Slovenia next summer and would like tutoring in Slovenian. We are complete beginners, although we do have a book/CD combination called 'Colloquial Slovene' which we have started to look at. However, we would prefer a more organized approach to studying the language. We prefer to have regular lessons, but we travel a lot, so the lesson schedule might need to be flexible.
