very beginner.
why i am learning is i have a wonderful chinese girlfriend and i have travelled to china for 1 month 07, i wish to learn to help me communicate more effectively with my girlfriend and also i have a love for china and the chinese way.
the areas i am interested in are long term full converstaion and games and things i can use on a daily basis would help.
I would be willing to dedicate 1.5 hours a day driving to and from work and also 1 or 2 lessons per week.
the qualities i am looking for in my future teacher would be interesting converstaions , games and interactive cds for my car. a professional attitude and experience in teaching from a beginners level with patience as i am finding learning chinese to be quiet challenging!

I am seriously interested in learning chinese. I choose to do it as a hobby, and have absolutely no experience in this language whatsoever! I am intensley interested in the chinese culture, and the language and scripts are so beautiful. I prefer to learn from someone who has spent considerable time in China, so that I know the sources of their teachings are direct. I am looking for lessons outside of work hours (as I work a full time job) and am eager to start. I would prefer some private lessons, with the opportunity to meet others to practise in conversation.

I am a complete beginner, although I have spent a few months in India so I know a few words and very simple phrases but am unable to complete a sentence etc. So I would like to focus on conversationa l Hindi and to be able to understand films etc.
I love India and travel there a lot and feel I would get a better experience communicating with the locals in their language and it is respectful I think to make an attempt to learn the language of a culture I spend so much time in.
I would like a part time/evening class schedule if possible. I am very keen to learn and will be returning to India in about 18months time so would like to be as fluent as possible.
