I am a beginner and would like to learn conversationa l Hindi. I am going to India in October 2006 for vacation. I am a linguist and have studied 5 foreign languages, including Russian. I would like to spend 1 hour a week for the next 6 months.
I am a visual learner so I would like to use a blend of written and audio materials. I would also need some flexibility in the class schedule due to my travel schedule. Thank you.

I have no experience but am DESPERATELY trying to find someone to teach me Hindi. I want to do aid work in India and possibly become a professional translator. This is my dream.
