i recently travelled to thailand and really enjoyed it i would like to go there again soon , i only know two words so i am at a very beginner level . i would like to learn conversationa l thai as i believe it would enhance my enjoyment of my travels there and my appreciation of the thai people and their culture . i work a 2/1 roster fifo so i can only have in person lessons one week in three so i hope to find a teacher with patience who can spare me two or three lessons on the week i am in town

My proficiency level with Cantonese is intermediate. My tone and pronunciation is good. My vocab is so-so. My listening comprehension is limited, especially when listening to native speakers talking very quickly.
I've completed levels 1-6 Cantonese courses at ACCS in Melbourne. It is the only place offering Cantonese lessons in Melbourne to my knowledge. Each course was 2 only hours a week for 10 weeks, and I feel I really need more time with a native speaker for more practice and learning.
*Update: I am now living in Perth! (Nov 2009)
I'm learning Cantonese because my in-laws speak Cantonese and I have an interest in developing my fluency in this language.
I feel that I need improvement particularly in vocab, listening comprehension and general conversation.
I would like to have a 2-hour lesson with a tutor, once a week.
I am looking for a teacher that is willing to meet up for 2 hours a week to help me improve my Cantonese.

I am learning Spanish for personal achievement. I feel that my conversation is lacking because I have no one to talk with face to face. My level is probably beginner/inte rmediate as I have listened to Spanish lessons and have some experience with live chat.
