I recently graduated with a 2:1 degree in Chinese Mandarin and Linguistics, I also have HSK level 4 but I would really like to improve my Mandarin further in order to pass HSK level 5 and consequently be classified as fluent in Mandarin. This would really help me improve my career prospects and satisfy my communicative desires.
I believe I need to focus on my pronunciation and grammar in particular, as well as obviously extending my vocabulary.
Ideally I would like to spend 4-8 hours per week studying with a teacher (contact time).
Qua lities I am looking for are: fast-paced lessons, clear structure to classes, helpful and approachable teacher, HSK 5 preperation, in addition I would like to be ready to take and pass HSK 5 ASAP!
