I have a job interview conducted in Japanese in the next two weeks. I have minored in Japanese in college and traveled several times to Japan. However, I feel that my Japanese is not enough to be used in a business context and interview. I want to learn Japanese, because it is an interesting language. Im interesting in Japanese culture and hopefully im going to Tokyo next year for study abroad. Im a beginner level, although I know hiragana and katakana and some Kanji letters. I know some greetings and the basic stuff. I need improvement in all the areas, mostly conversation cause there's not that many japanese speakers here in south florida to practice with. I would like to start learning this summer. Im looking for a native japanese teacher or someone that knows the language perfectly.

I have wanted to learn Japanese for several years but I didn't have time to attend classes in a formal setting. Recently my twelve year old daughter told me that she really wanted to learn japanese. Since all of the book reports and projects that she has done recently have been about japan and Japanese culture I have reason to belive she is serious. I thought this would be a great thing for us to do together . We would both be considered beginers, my daughter will probably catch on faster . I feel I will need more help with pronunciation , I'm from the south and still have a slight accent. I would like to have at least one lesson per week, late afternoon to early evening is best. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and can make this experience an enjoyable one for my daughter and myself so that we look forward to each lesson . We have no strict time table for completion, we are willing to dedicate at least six months to try this out , and hopefully this will be the kind of experience that we will want to continue for a long time to come.

Hello, I'm Andrew and I'm trying to learn Japanese. I've used many language learning material, but I can't quite learn the language myself. I have studied the Japanese language for a while but I am still a beginner. I am still a beginner because I have only practiced the Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji of Japanese, but i have not mastered it nor have practiced conversation. I also feel that I work better learning anything with someone or a guide by my side. I would be willing to work on saturdays and sundays in the afternoon. As for a teacher I just want to meet somebody who knows what they are doing and can make the lessons worthwhile and fun.
