I've had up to Intermediate level studies in Japanese; 3 terms in College. I have also taken Kanji courses to an Intermediate level as well (3 terms). However, this was over one year ago and I have lost most of my skills in the language. My aim is to be able to pass the JLPT level 3 as easily as I can. I am very much interested more in conversationa l and comprehension skills as I lacked these back when I was studying.
I want to dedicate as much time to relearning Japanese as possible, but I also want to take Tagalog in stride. I say this because of my interest in wanting to be in the Philippines for an extended time as well as me being of Filipino ancestry.
What I'm looking for is just a friendly way of communication in either language. I am also looking for a patient teacher as I can become quite slow at certain things.
