I am a university student planning to take a full year Elementary Latin course during the academic year 2005-6 (i.e. commencing this Fall).
As I have no prior knowledge of Latin or any other European language like French or Spanish, I plan to take some intensive private tuitions (about 30 hours) in the Summer (from August to about 6th September, 2005).

My name is Keith Tracy and I am a 16 year old kid who is very interested in learning Arabic. My native language is English, but I have also been taking Mandarin for over 10 years. I have lived in Hong Kong my entire life but currently go to a boarding school, St. Paul's, in Concord, NH in the US. I wish to learn Arabic because I feel that in the coming years, countries like the US and China will be placing more and more importance upon their relationships with Arabic countries and it is very important to be able to communicate with members of all three communities.
I am looking to have lessons in person during the summer vacation (next year is okay too), or online throughout the remainder of the year. I am serious about learning Arabic, but would not be able to spend too much time on learning it during the school year, as I am very busy at boarding school.
I am looking for a teacher who could give me the basics in Arabic that I would need if I were to further pursue this in the future...whic h I almost definitely will.
Teache r must be almost fluent in English.
