I am a beginner in Japanese, with some basic knowledge in greetings, conversation, etc. I would like to improve on every area, and learn it perfectly. I want to learn Japanese because it is a beautiful language, and I want to be able to speak with my Japanese friends. I would also love to go to Japan for a while and do all sorts of things. I would dedicate as much time as possible for the lessons. I would like a teacher who is a native speaker, and someone who will have fun teaching.

I am finishing up my 4th semester of Japanese. I have run out of classes to take, however I'm not yet finished with my Bachelor's degree. I intend to join the JET program and teach English in Japan once I have completed my degree. I'm afraid that if I don't take some kind of on-going training with this language, I will forget what I have learned! My strong point is sentence structure and vocabulary. Weak points are Kanji and some of the verb/adjectiv e conjugation. My listening/con versations skills could use some work as well. I'm not sure of a schedule as far as how many hours a week I'd like to spend on tutoring, but I'm sure that's something that can be worked out. As far as tutoring goes, I require sometimes a lot of patience as I can be forgetful at times. Japanese is not easy to learn, but it's something I'm passionate about.

Mo stly need to improve listening skills, conversation, begin studying Kanji.
1.5 hour lessons would be perfect.

I learnt japanese language during my highschool years and have approximately covered the beginner's level. However, after 5 years, the skill is decreasing. currently, i would like to learn and practice particularly in communication skill with proper grammar. learning japanese is considered a hobby to me. i would probably able to spend 2 to 4 hours a week to learn this language. i would like to have a teacher that is fun and effective in teaching.
