I am a beginner. I know some words and a few phrases. I am learning for personal interest and future travels to Japan. I would like 1 hour lessons and I would be available 2-4 times a month depending on my schedule. I need improvement in all areas but particularly conversation and writing.
L ooking for someone nice and patient who makes learning fun.

Description |
I really can't speak much Japanese at all. I know bits and pieces, but definitely not enough to carry out a conversation. This brings us to why I want to learn Japanese. My first and foremost reason is that I am half Japanese. Gr owing up, I was never really taught how to speak Japanese. Al l of my life I really wanted to though, but never found the time to do so. I took Spanish in highschool, and excelled at that, but I knew that I would never really get serious about it. Japanese on the other hand I would take seriously because it would enable me to defeat the language barrier between my Obachan and I. My Obachan will talk to me in Japanese even though I don't always understand what she's saying, but she's the sweetest little old lady. My mom usually acts as the 'translator' to say the least.
I would like to read and write in Japanese. I would dedicate the ammount of time that the teacher suggests I suppose. I am a very dedicated learner, especially if it's something of interest.
Qualities that I am looking for in a teacher would be a person who is patient, humble, and knows what they are doing. Some form of a teaching degree would be nice.
Well thank you for taking the time in reading this long description. :) Hopefully we can start soon!

I am looking forward to learn Japanese. I am a complete beginner, and have no previous experience in regards to Japanese. I wish to learn Japanese out of general interest and possible career development. I would like to learn all aspects of learning the language but would like to put focus on converstation al part. I know that learning a new language does take time so i believe this will be an ongoing venture and do not have a timeline in terms of when I would like to finish my lessons. I am looking for a teacher who has a good foundation with the language and is very easy to approach.

Description |
I'm a beginner, and want to learn these languages, and Russia; only because I am interested in them and nothing more. Plus it would be good for a college resume. Everything, I've delved in Japanese, but that's only by watching programs, such as Anime in its own language; and would be a quicker learner in that feild, I guess. 2 hours at least for each language, but it all depends on the money situation. Fun. All lessons should be fun and a great experience. I'm not talking wild, but enough to make me want to learn and keep learning with that teacher. See, I've always hated French class in school. One; because it's boring, and two; because I'm not comfortable with being in a classroom with so many other people, and have them criticizing my answers, or mentally mocking my ability.
