Hello,
I would like to learn to speak and write in Polish. I am a beginner. I do know how to say a handful of words, so I will basically be starting from scratch.
I would like to learn to communicate in Polish because my partner is Polish. He speaks English fluently, as do his parents, but I think that learning to communicate in his family's mother tongue would be an integral part of our relationship, as well as the relationship that will develop with his family.
I would like to thoroughly understand the proper use of grammar; written as well as conversationa l, I would like to perfect (or come close to perfecting) my pronunciation and I would also like to understand the Polish culture.
I would like to dedicate 2 - 3 hours per week taking lessons.
T he qualities that I am looking for in a teacher are kindness, patience and I would like my instructor to be very thorough, as learning this language is very important to me.

To whom it may concern.
I am looking to get polish lessons in my local area if possible.
I have a very basic understanding of the polish language and can communicate on a very basic level.
I have 3 main reasons for wanting to learn.
1. I am engaged to a polish girl and would like to be able to communicate better with her family.
2. I work with a few polish people and would like to be able to speak with them in their language.
3. My company is looking to expand into Poland late next year and I feel this would be an advantage to me to be more familar with the language.
I would be looking to learn conversationa l polish and not written for the moment. Would like a teacher that is focused on speach and conversation.

Hi,
I have a general interest in Slavonics and for the time being, focus on Polish.
I seek an instructor whose intent is to build the foundation for a future native-level speaker, my own long-term goal.
My short term expectations are nothing more than the above, furthering my basics, colloquial speech, phonetics, accent and dialect.
I n terms of experience, I travelled to Krakow for four trips of shorter duration in the earlier part of 2007. I am aware of most of the basics of Polish grammar, and very familiar with the sound system. In the European System, I would be classified as close to A2.

I want to learn polish, first off because my boyfriend speaks it fluently, and because i am going to poland this summer. I work full time but I can do it any other time that i am not working. I want to be able to speak the language very well, so that i can speak with my boyfriend and his family with polish. I do not know any polish words.
