I am a parent looking for a teacher to teach my 4 year old daughter Chinese-Manda rin on a regular classes basis and in person. I prefer the location to be in Maadi as this is where we live but possibilities are welcome and we could negotiate/dis cuss the location upon meeting.
I would like my 4 year old daughter to be proficient in a couple of languages, including English which she is already learning in school, by the time she is 8-10 years old and I am looking for a Chinese teacher who could help me achieve this goal.

I started learning Mandarin in 4th grade while living in Hong Kong. I lived in Hong Kong for 2-1/2 years. I then moved to California and, unfortunately , was not able to continue my studies there. My family moved to Minnesota last year and as a freshman in high school, I was able to learn Mandarin as an Independent Study using the Homeschool version of Rosetta Stone. Given the complexity of the language, I prefer to have a teacher/tutor for in-person feedback/corr ection, etc. so we are now looking for a different curriculum and teacher/tutor . I must report assessment results to my high school in order for this to be considered a legitimate independent study.
