Beginner; able to read and write at beginner to intemediate level.
I wish to learn arabic for religious reasons, as well as being able to converse with arabs when I visit middle eastern countries.
Need improvement in grammar, conversationa l arabic - would prefer to learn modern standard arabic rather than focusing on dialects. Intend to travel to Jordan to improve skill once i have picked up the basics.
Pl an to dedicate 2 hours a week to learning, although would like a little flexibility in extending the times.

I am just starting to learn Arabic via self-teaching manuals and I am studying it full time at university next year.
