At the moment In school I take German as a subject and will be taking GCSE exams in 6months and IB exams in 2 years therefore it is important for me to have advanced skills in German. Although I have been learning german for 3 years now in school (with about 2 hours a week of lessons) Compared to other students my level of german is not as high, I would probably classify my-self as intermediate. There are not really specific areas I need improvement on, but my ability to have a conversation is quite bad. I would dedicate 1-2 hours a week for language lessons but this is dependant on how flexible a teacher can be as I will most likely only be available on weekends and late evenings (after 7pm). In a teacher I look for High language skills in both English and German, lots of experience in tutoring other people and also a high level of professionali sm.
