I am learning Mandarin Chinese because I am participating in a study abroad program this summer to Taiwan. I have taken three semesters of Mandarin Chinese at Grand Valley State University. I need particular improvement in grammar, character writing, and speaking. I would like to dedicate at least 2 hours a week to my lessons. I am looking for a hard working, and knowledgeable tutor. I would like them to be passionate about the language, open-minded, cooperative, and patient.

I am looking to learn Arabic because i am early in the process of joining a non-violent activist organization that works in Palestinian occupied territory; I will need to communicate and hold basic conversations with the people there as I plan to live in the area for at least 4 weeks.
I am a beginner with very little ability in the language. I would like to dedicate at least 8 hours per week to formal language lessons and more time for private study; I would like to be able to speak and read arabic within 6 months and I am looking for a challenging instructor who will vigorously train me in the language to reach that goal.
