My proficiency for German is a beginner level. I want to learn the language for a few reasons: First of all, I went to Germany a few years ago, but only knew enough to be polite. I would like to have conversations when I go back in a year and a half; Secondly, I want to better my knowledge to learn multiple languages. I've always wanted to learn German and then Spanish, but found that lack of interaction with a German-speaki ng person makes it difficult. I have the Rosetta Stone for German, as well as many lessons on podcasts. I'd like to spend an hour to two hours a day practicing and learning. As for a teacher, someone who will guide me to fluency would be great.

Hi I am a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, staying in East Nashville. During the last year I took two semesters of elementary arabic and need help in maintaining the knowledge I acquired there and expanding my Arabic skills.
I have applied to the Peace Corps, and if accepted I hope to go to Jordan, Morroco, or elsewhere in Northern Africa where Arabic is spoken. I also do political science research and would love to be able to read newspaper articles, government documents and journal articles in the Arabic language. Thus I need to have tutoring that focused both on informal, conversationa l Arabic as well as strong reading comprehension and writing practice.
If you can help with this I would love to do some tutoring sessions often on a weekly basis!

I would like to learn another language so I can be well diverse in culture, future career employment, and better myself as a person. I would still consider myself a 'beginner' although I have studied Mandarin for the past 15 months. I lived in Shanghai until about 2 weeks ago in which I participated in private lessons twice per week. I am looking to continue learning Mandarin while living in the Nashville area.
