I will work here for next four month and my wife wants to learn English for future use. Her English is quite basic and she needs allover education ranging from grammar to reading and writing stuff. As I will only work here for four month at most, so I am thinking three month would be nice. I am looking for a lady teacher with great teaching experience and patience. I am a beginner in Bengali. I plan to visit Bangladesh, (Dhaka division) in the next year or so to meet my future in-laws. They know little, if any English. I know a few words of Bangla.
At this time, I am interested in learning conversation and grammar. I do not need to learn Bangla alphabet or reading at this time.
I would like one weekly lesson, perhaps more. This depends upon the price of lessons. I can devote some time each day to study and practice.
I have email, skype and possibly live video capabilities for the lessons.
I have tried to learn Bangla on my own. I have several resources. My problem has been forgetting things because of lack of regular practice and lack of a disciplined schedule for study.
I believe that with a professional teacher I will be able to study more regularly and better retain the information.
