I'm currently a beginner in all the languages listed below.
I'd like to master Mandarin Chinese as well as learn Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and other languages within the Southeast Asia region.
Pr oficiency in these languages will enable me to travel throughout the Asian region and teach English as a second language overseas.
I need extensive practice in all areas of each language such as conversation, reading, writing and listening, and am dedicated to putting the time into learning as much as I can.
I'd like a teacher who is patient, understanding , kind and knowledgable. I hope they're willing to work with a beginning student like myself.

I only know a few thigns in Thai such as the greetings and thank yous and basic things such as 'yes' ' no' ' I like' ect.... I would liek to learn because I met a nice girl there who does not speak english and would liek to communicate with her easier than pointing at a dictionary every time.

Personal interest. I don't speak any Thai except for bartering with the Baht. =)
I have been to Thailand once and loved it. I am returning in March of this year. It is my favorite vacation spot. I will be returning for years to come. I would like to learn Thai in order to travel to remote places where English is not common. The first time I was in Thailand, I was on a Trek and had a major knee injury. I was Motorcycled out of the jungle with a Thai who did not speak English. I was stuck in a hut waiting for help for 8 hours with no English speaking Thai people. I was completely fine and safe, but I would like to learn Thai so that I can communicate with the Thai people in their own language.
