I am a beginner. I've been visiting Indonesia on and off for 6 months but have not learned much. I moved here for 2 years starting 3 weeks ago.
I need to be able to read and speak Bahasa Indonesian to government officials. I would like to have lessons two days per week, 2 hrs per lesson, and perhaps a half day on Saturday or Sunday.
I am looking for someone competent and interesting and upbeat (I tend to get down on myself if I feel I am making bad progress).

Hi,
I am moving to Bali (Kuta) in the beginning of August 2009, and therefore need to learn a bit of Bahasa before I leave.
I have no previous experience with the language, but normally learn fast.
I am looking for 1-1.5 hours teaching a week, perhaps a bit more towards the end of july.
I need the basic conversation skills - and as I am an Osteopath a bit of business and medical language would be very helpful as well.

I am a manager of a tour company here in Kuala Lumpur. Currently, we have groups of Australian students on an education programme here and one of the activities is Language Lesson (Bahasa Indonesia). THey come to Malaysia during the holiday period - Mar/Apr , June/July, Sep & Nov.
I need the service of an Indonesian tutor to handle these lessons. These are done in the hotel fucntion room . The group size is between 6-20 persons (14-18 years). Most of them have a basic level only.
The lesson is between 1 to 3 hours per day. Each group will do 2 lessons up to 4 lessons per visit.

I am currently about to start a course to be certified in ESL. When I am finished, I will be applying for teaching jobs outside of the USA, and I really want to go to Indonesia. I am at a beginner's level and have had no experience in speaking the language. Since I will be living there for an extended period of time, and teaching English, it is extremely important that I have a proper and in-depth understanding of the language. I am looking for a tutor that is flexible, organized, and patient. I am ready and willing to devote my free time to learn Bahasa Indonesia. I am a visual learner, so reading or writing is always best for me.
