I am a beginner in korean, and I would like to learn it because I am half-korean and want to become more involved in my culture. Also, a lot of my family speak korean so it would help with communication . It could also come in handy later in life, just like Chinese and Japanese. I am also very interested in their culture. I don't have any specific area that needs improvement, as I know little of the languages altogether. I would dedicate a lot of my time to my lessons to learn as much as possible, as I am eager to learn. There aren't any specific qualities I am looking for in a teacher, although I would like it if they put in as much as effort to teach me as I do to learn.

I went to Japan for working purpose last 2 years teaching English and I just got back to Malaysia recently.I did not enroll myself to any Japanese language course due to the lack of time.So I will consider myself a beginner in Japanese and I wish to gain this language skill as I intend to go back to Japan in the future,perhap s in one or 2 years time.I would love to learn the necessary skill in order to prepare myself for JLPT test at the earliest time as possible.Thou gh I still need to work 5 days per week like any other employees,but I am ready to devote my evening or night(outside working hours) to study japanese.So in this case,I would really appreciate if the teacher will be availabe to offer the teaching during late evening and weekends.
