I want to learn to speak and understand Mandarin in preparation for a 2-month trip next summer to China. I do not speak any at this time. I would like enough language to be polite, navigate independently , get myself found once I am lost, get something not-too-inter esting to eat. I would like one lesson per week throughout the fall, winter, spring. I hope for a teacher that is familiar with current trends.

Its hard to find a tutor for adolescence in Kentucky, so I'm willing to go into northern Tennesse if needed. I've been looking around for a while, and hope this website brings good progress for me.
