Although I studied Japanese in University of Montreal for three years between 1992 and 1995, I consider myself as a beginner who might become intermediate quickly. My job is bringing me to Japan in February and May 2008. I am interested in improving my conversation skills to be able to negotiate with my Japanese counterparts and be comfortable in having a day-to-day conversation. I would like a 3-hour/week private lesson with a teacher who has formal training in teaching Japanese.

I am a beginner at learning the Japanese language. I am familiar with some words but not enough to read or speak fluently. I want to learn Japanese because I am planning on visiting there in the next few years, and I am a big fan of Anime, and have quite a few Doujinshi that I can't read, because it is all in Japanese. I am looking for someone who is patient, affordable, knowledgeable and who has a lighthearted approach to teaching.
