my husband works for an Iranian company and I would like to be able to chat with the people there as I occasionally work on the reception desk for them.
I am an total beginner.
I need conversation to be able to answer the phone and reply to questions.
I am unsure what would be the best amount of time to give to lessons but I want to learn, so would like to find out what is recommended.
I would like it to be fun, perhaps playing games and having audio to practice on mp3.
I would also like to learn about culture in Iran/Turkey as we have been invited to visit.

I would like to learn some Farsi before travelling this winter. I am a total beginner. My focus would be on conversation. I can give about 5 hours a week to my language studies, since I need to learn quite quickly. I look for patience and a clear speaking voice in my teacher.

I am looking to learn Persian (Farsi, Dari). I have not yet had any lessons but I do know the basics of the language. The reason for pursuing to learn this language is because my soon to be fiance is fluent in Farsi and his family is as well ( and are not able to speak much Enlgish ).
I am employed full time but I have about 2-3 days a week that I am free to have lessons. I am looking to learn this language as fast as I can :)
