I am interested in learning Portuguese. I'm mostly interested in conversation, but would take any course that included conversation. I am a beginner in Portuguese, but already speak Spanish and French, which are quite similar.

I am traveling to Brazil in about 2 months to visit family and want to become at least somewhat familiar with the language so I'm not that 'ugly American' who can only speak English. I need a teacher who will introduce me to the basic elements and as much more as I can grasp but not overwhelm me with all of the intracacies (which I know I don't have time to master). Classes or private lessons could be fine, depending on when they are scheduled. THANKS.
