I have no prior experience with the German language but am very motivated to learn it at the basic level at the quickest pace possible. I plan to enroll in a German 1 course this fall at a university and would require two private lessons a week to supplement it. My hope is that not only would you help reinforce my learnings from the university class but that you could provide additional lessons along the way to move me past a German 1 level and more into at least a German 2 level by the end of the semester. My schedule would require evening lessons during the week.
The goal is to learn enough basic grammar, conversation, and writing skills during the fall semester to comfortably immerse myself into the Viennese culture come January 2008 where I could further improve my proficiency through an additional language camp and everyday interaction.
The big goal is to speak well enough to qualify for a professional job within Austria before April 2008.
I would like to hear your opinion on how realistic my goals are as well as any strategies you may have to add to mine to help me achieve these goals.

i am a fresher . i wish to learn german. i had done my Mtech in Autombile engg. germany is the hub for automobiles i aim at servicing over there where i can put in all my knowledge . this is the reaosn why i wish to learn german. the main area in which i focus is conversation and grammer to some extent. i can dedicate evening time or weekends for learning german. even it goes for one year no issue. main thing should be i should deveopfrequen cy in learning it.
i look for teachers who can adjust with all my faults. rather than a teacher i wish to have a good friend who can teach me german in a friendly way. i prefer lady teachers since they know how to handle students well than male.

I am beginner, without any knowledge of German. Purpose of learning German is career advancement and possible job position in Germany. Learning should cover both oral and written skills, conversation and grammar. I would probably start with taking lessons twice a week (weekdays), which might change later.
