To whom it may concern,
I am a 21 year old female who has a Greek father and a Croatian mother but born and raised in Sydney Australia. Since I was a little girl I have been interested to learn the Greek language to be able to converse with my grandmother overseas. I first met my grandmother in 2002 where I stayed with her and my father on the Island, the duration of my time there was 3 months, I found that my understanding of the language came quicker the being able to speak it. I plan to revisit the beautiful country and Island next year in August and would love to be able to converse fluently and to be able to listen to all the wonderful stories my grandmother has to offer. I also want to surprise my father as I know it would bring tears to his eyes to be able hear me speak his language. I love the language, history and culture. I am proud of my heritage. My proficiency level would have to be beginner, improvement would have to be in all arears, as I work Monday through to Friday and my hours being 08.30 to 17.00 I am looking for lessons after 17.00 weekdays and anytime on weekends for as long as it takes to master the language.

I am planning to visit greece next year and would like to learn the language in a beginners course. I would be interested in having 2 or 3 lessons a week. I am eager to start as soon as possible, I recently enrolled in a community college greek beginners course, unfortunately it was cancelled due to lack of interest. I can't seem to find any other courses anywhere, so any help would be much appreciated.
