I want to learn Russian so that I can communicate to my girlfriend that lives in Russia, I want to go and visite her at the end of the year and would like to communicate in some basice form of Russian.
Do not know any Russian at all read some on the internet but it seams impossible to learn without being tutored to do so.
To be fluenish in conversation would be nice to start with and grammer, writing later would be good.
I thought once a week would be good to start with I think I can sustain studing for the next weeks lesson.

Hello. My name is Philipa, and I would like to learn Afrikaans. I arrived in SA this month and plan to stay at least until August. I grew up in a German household, and speak German fluently. I am told that this will make learning Afrikaans relatively easy. Learning languages is something I really enjoy doing, and Afrikaans will be my fifth. I expect that three meetings a week would suffice, but am open to suggestions. I am looking for a teacher who is formal with respect to lessons and meetings, yet relaxed and fun to spend the time with. I look forward to starting!
