My knowledge of Russian is mixed. I took an intensive course in college 4 decades ago, and I have been to Russia.
I know a number of colloquialism s and everyday phrases
and I am told that my accent is pretty good, but I know
little grammar.
I am motivated to learn it because I will be making
numer ous personal visits to Russia in the near future.
I also hope to give university level lectures, at least
in passable Russian, or at the very least, to be able to understand and adequately answer questions in Russian. (my specialty is cognitive science).
I am most interested in mastering grammar.
I have a good deal of time to devote to this.
I need an organized teacher who will take me through
the intricate stuff, different noun inflections, verb classes and so on.

T ime Required per week: Preferably 2 hours per week in the late afternoons
Specifically I need an hour (2 per week) of 1 on 1 conversation to keep my Spanish skills up-to-date, also part of job is to translate documents from English to Spanish and I would like someone to review them for me and point out areas of possible improvement.
