I need to learn Latvian for my internship: I am in Latvia for 3 months (I am in Riga for 10 days, and I work into the Riga Latvian Society. I can't communicate with clients, that is why it is one of my priorities is to learn the language as fast as possible. I don't speak Latvian, I just some salutations but that is all.
I do not know how much time I need to learn this language, it will depend on what the frequency of lessons is.

Hello,
I would like to spend some months in South America (in 2011) as well as in Latvia. My goal is to become a professional interpreter, I already know German (my mother tongue) English and French. Languages are my passion, as you might have already realized.
I have a bachelor's degree in Business and Management and I am currently working on an online translation diploma (IOL).
I would like to improve my understanding of Spanish and I would like to have the ability to talk about various subjects such as world news, ecology, sports, travel and culture. My level in Spanish would be advanced beginner maybe. I had Spanish in school for 3 years, so I've heard of most of the grammar rules, but I need to refresh them of course. I could take 1-2 lessons per week. I would like to take them preferably via skype or if this is not possible via the phone or msn.
Conce rning Latvian, I am a beginner, I have already immersed in grammar rules and vocabulary but since this language is not simple I still need to work a lot in order to be able to know the basics. I would like to take one lesson per week via the phone or skype.
I would like to add that I CANNOT PAY MORE THAN 15€ PER LESSON. :)

Looking for someone (a native Latvian speaker) from Hull to help me with conversationa l Latvian. My brother recently married a girl from Latvia and while at the wedding in Latvia I was unfortunately unable to speak with any of her family and relatives.
