Proficiency level:beginne r. i learnt hindi till 12th.ive completed my engg studies and am in my final year MBA.
Why Sanskrit? bcoz i want to be able to learn the Bhagavat Gita and read several other books that are in Sanskrit. translations are available but i would like to understand them for myself and not be swayed by a particular translators version of it.
Areas of improvement:w ell as a beginner i think every area needs importance.
Time:About an hour a day for class and another hour or more (depending on how much effort i have to put in) for my study.
Quali ties:the ability to communicate well and patience.

I am a beginner.
I want to learn Sanskrit to be able to follow and understand the Hindu religious texts.
I am looking for learning the language from a conversation improvisation perspective.
I would like to dedicate 6 to 8 hours a week (only on the weekends - Satuday & Sunday).
To be able to teach me starting from the sentences and then corelate the components of each sentence with the grammar rules of this beautiful language.
