I am looking to learn Filipino(Taga log). The status that I am currently at is a beginner. I have had zero formal training and have only the slightest in conversationa l interaction.
I would like to learn the language primarily so that I am capable of conversing with many others whom I know who are proficient in the language. Aswell I intend to spend time in the phillipines.
In regards to how much time I can allot, I am a student at McMaster University in Hamilton, and I have a car so I am flexible. Once a week would probably be best, but can be determined at a later date.
In regards to a teacher I am looking for someone who has the time to tutor in person. This is my primary requirement, as I am a beginner.

Proficiency level - beginner
I need to learn Punjabi since my family speaks punjabi, I want to be able to better communicate with them.
I need to focus more on conversationa l punjabi, however grammar is quite important too (sentence structure, vocabulary etc.)
I will dedicate as long as it takes to learn the language, on average about 2-3 hours a week
I need a teacher who will teach me the language right from the beginning preferably in single classes, who will test me on knowledge gained, and challenge me to learn more.

Urdu- Beginner, I want to learn for career advancement and for family. I want to learn basics of the language, and to be better at understanding the language not so much at speaking it.
