I am a beginner. I have only watch some Japanese dramas and anime shows in Japanese. I am learning this foreign language because I am interested in learning a new language and because the language of Japanese intrigues me and because I would like to live in Japan (if possible) someday. I feel I need to improve in conversation, speaking, reading and some writing. Since I am still a student and still need to dedicate time to school and studying, I would like to put in at least an hour a week of learning. Qualities I am looking for in my lessons and my teacher is, of course, that he/she will be able to teach me Japanese and that each lesson, I will be able to learn something new (no matter how small it is. I hope that my teacher will teach me Japanese and I will be able to speak to my heart's content!

Dear futur teacher,
I am looking for a private teacher to help me with my studies. I find it very hard to stay motivated on my own and would like to meet someone once a week (about two hours).
I have studied Japanese for three years, two at Montreal University and one at Nagoya Gaikoku Daigaku (NUFS). I am about Nikyu level, but I feel like I am regressing because I do not practice enough. I would like some help with reading comprehension (novels and/or newspapers).
Since I (should) know the basics, I would rather have a class where I do the research myself (kanji, vocabulary, grammar) and get help and explanation afterward.
I am a 24 years old native French speaker, but I am mostly bilingual (English), so lessons in English are fine.

Good English is not required. A happy personality and interesting role play lessons are. Must enjoy teaching kids and adults. Must be female and native Japanese. Looking for weeknight lessons, or Sat / Sun lesson. No materials required from teacher...I have many many study aids (books, flash cards, cds, dvds). I have invested a lot into the materials I have and would like to use those as much as possible. I have studied for over five years. I lived in Japan for 1 year.
