I am at an intermediate level of Urdu. I have picked up some Urdu just from being around family (parents are fluent, but it is not their first language) and other cultural interactions. Also, I speak a dialect fluently so I do have a good amount of vocabulary. I am also able to read Urdu script, albeit slowly. I'm interested in learning Urdu formally, and specifically so that I can read philosophy, literature,po litical and legal texts. I would need the instructor to be well-read in Urdu literature himself/herse lf, and be able to break down grammar from a technical perspective. Also, the instructor should know English grammar very well.

I need to learn Arabic ASAP because I'm going to Morocco through the Peace Corps in early March. I have no prior experience with Arabic; thus, I am interested in beginning ASAP. Furthermore, I am looking forward to expanding my horizons with this new knowledge.
I will dedicate as much time as possible. In addition, I learn best through books, reading newspapers etc, and one-on-one reviews.

I am a recent college graduate who is trying to learn Turkish. I have a boyfriend who is from Turkey, and is planning to propose soon. After we are married, we are planning to move to Turkey (the Black Sea area). As a gift to him (and to make the transition easier on me), I would love to learn to speak Turkish. I am a beginner learner. I am learning the language for my own personal knowledge. I am very interested in language.
