I am hoping to learn Chinese to further my career. I would consider my proficiency level for this language to be at a beginners level. I want to learn Polish because my boyfriend and his family are from Poland, and we are going there at the end of the year to get married. I need to be able to communicate with his family, and also this will stop him from having to translate everything said over dinner at his parents house.
I have no experience or education in the Polish language, and need lessons particularly in the basics of the language, grammar, etc to start, then have the ability to move into conversationa l Polish.
I need someone who is patient with me, and really take the time to go through everything, and not rush lessons. I would like to have one or two lessons in the evening after work per week.

I am looking to speak fluent Hungarian in both formal and informal versions. I have been studying the basics (beginner level) a little in reading, writing and speaking, but I can't get very far on my own. I wish to learn because my boyfriend is Hungarian and I want to surprise him with my new found understanding without his help.
I would like either a small class/group or personal lessons depending on the price and how often the lessons are. I would like to have at least 1-2 lessons a week for an affordable price from a teacher who is very equipped with teaching skills of the hungarian language. Meeting in Toronto or GTA is best.

I can speak Spanish at an advanced level and I need to learn Portuguese [Brazilian] for a career post. I reckon that I will be able to grasp most grammatical concepts as well as some of the vocabulary where it has similarities to Spanish. However, I would classify myself as an A1/2 on the ALTE scale. Given my needs to arrive at a C1 in short order I will be able to dedicate a significant amount of time to my studies and I would like my instructor to be a native speaker with specific knowledge of Portuguese as it is used in Brazil.
