I am a beginner in Japanese! I want to learn because me and my twin sister are moving to japan next January and i want to have a head start! I want to be able to hold a decent conversation, as well as a little bit of reading, well or as much as i can learn before then. I have been to Japan before so i understand the culture, just not the language! I want a teacher who is able to help me learn common phrases and conversationa l language as well as pronunciation ! W hy you are learning your foreign language:
I've always been very fond of Japan, and would like to learn the language and culture...Hop efully, one day, I'll be able to move there!
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement:
I know the basic kanji characters, but lack writing skills, true communication skills, and an overall knowledge of the language.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons:
As much time as it would take to be able to properly speak and write Japanese on my own. I work 8AM-6PM on the weekdays, and usually have the weekends off.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher:
I want my lessons to challenge me, but what I don't want is a lot of work and little guidance. Overall, I'm looking for someone who is fluent in the language, and is willing to spend the needed time to properly teach me everything I need to know. ;)
