I am a beginner. Although I studied japanese for 1 semester in college. I want to learn japanese becaue I want to learn a foreign language I could use for career advancement, I could probably use if I ever apply abroad. I believe Japanese is one of the important asian languages to be learned today. I want to learn more on conversations and reading. I would prefer lesson during the late afternoon after work. Around 5:30-6:30 pm. 2-3 times a week. The qualities I look for a teacher is someone who is patient, fun and preferably enrolled in a language school. Thanks!!!

I really want to learn Japanese. But I'm afraid the only Japanese words and conversations I come across with are from Japanese animations. I want to learn this because someday, I plan to study in Japan for my master's degree and I think it'll be easy for me if I learn their language right away. Actually, I think I would start from scratch. So I think, I can have my lessons as frequent as possible since I believe I would learn more and I could practice more if I am exposed to my lessons regularly. If I'm able to learn Japanese, from basic to advanced, then I'll be very much content regardless of the qualities of the teacher and the lessons.

Hello,
My name is Miho and i am half Japanese. I am looking for someone to teach me mainly converstional Japanese.
My Japanese mother passed away when i was only young and i unfortunatley lost the ability to speak Japanese fluently. I now only remember certain words and basic questions.
I am hoping to visit my elderly grandparents and family in and near Osaka sometime this year and take my baby daughter over. I believe it to be extremely rude for me to go over and not be able to converse with them so therefore am hoping there is a tutor near me so that i may take lessons.
