I am interested in continued study in Arabic, Swahili, and Mandarin Chinese. I would be interested in progressing as quickly as possible, devoting a few hours a week to each language.
I am interested in learning conversationa l Mandarin Chinese as quickly as possible. My proficiency is beginner. I am marrying a Taiwanese man and am very interested in every aspect of his culture and wish to speak the language of his heritage. I am looking for a lot of oral instruction accompanied by book-work that I can continue on my own at home while not in the presence of the teacher. I am most interested in being able to speak it but would also like to learn the basics of reading and writing.
I have had three college semesters of Arabic and spent this last spring semester of college studying in Morocco working on my Arabic proficiency (I am already fluent in French due to a year spent abroad in Belgium). I am looking for an advanced arabic level teacher with whom to hold conversations as well as learn advanced grammar and vocabulary.
I have had one semester of Swahili and lived with two Kenyas for a semester. I would like to continue learning conversationa lly and continue building my vocabulary.
I am already poly-lingual and am a very quick language learner and very studious. Thank you.

I have taken Mandarin for two years, and in fact I am currently living in China as part of a high school exchange program. I will return to the United States in two weeks. I have been studying Japanese, but am still only on a beginner level. I am trying to learn it because I aspire to go to college in Japan(some universities offer classes in English, but of course I will need to know Japanese for other 'daily life' sort of reasons).

I have studied Chinese for almost three years. One year I studied at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies at the University of International Business and Economics (Dui Wai Jing Mao Da Xue) in Beijing, China. My senior year of college I studied advanced Chinese one on one with my laoshi. I was tested in my Chinese lanuage capabilities and scored an Advanced Low. I would like to improve my grammar, conversationa l skills, and become celompletely fluent in Chinese. I would like to meet once a week for two hours or twice a week for one hour. I already have an Intermediate and Advanced book I would like to use. I completed the Intermediate, but would like to review the grammar. The book is Cheng & Tsui Integrated Chinese Level 2. My advanced book I will use is China Scene: An Advanced Chinese Multimedia course. It is very important for me to become fluent in Chinese.
