My son is 14 and has completed one year of high school Mandarin in Northern California. He is transferring to the high school here in Franklin, TN and they do not offer this language option.
If a tutor is available here in the Franklin / Nashville area and we can coordinate this through the school, then that would be best.
If a tutor is available online, then I would still like to work through the high school so that he gets his language credits.

I would like to engage in the above foreign languages in order to further my career and potentially take up residence in another country.
I am a beginner in these languages, however I have completed the foreign language requirement for my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice so I fully understand the dedication and consistency that is required in order to successfully learn and master a foreign language.
I would like to start off my lessons on a part time basis if further time between my schedule and the teacher permits. I am a single mom, who works full time and is in the process of finishing up my Master's Degree on a part time basis through online classes. Please do not mistake the busyness of my lifestyle as a hinderance. While I plan to further my career with the study of these languages I also have a personal interest in learning them. I do have flexibility with my job and I am willing to travel as well to make time for these lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who just as much dedication in teaching the language as I have in learning the language. Someone that will have the patience when is necessary, but will push me when it applies.

I am a mother of 3 and my family and I are returning from an expat assignment in Shanghai, China. The children and I are proficient in Mandarin and would like to continue our learning. I am looking for a teacher that can come to our home once a week and give a group lesson to my children and me, most likely in the evening. We can all communicate in Mandarin rather well, but I do not want my children to lose their language abilities.

I am interested in continued study in Arabic, Swahili, and Mandarin Chinese. I would be interested in progressing as quickly as possible, devoting a few hours a week to each language.
I am interested in learning conversationa l Mandarin Chinese as quickly as possible. My proficiency is beginner. I am marrying a Taiwanese man and am very interested in every aspect of his culture and wish to speak the language of his heritage. I am looking for a lot of oral instruction accompanied by book-work that I can continue on my own at home while not in the presence of the teacher. I am most interested in being able to speak it but would also like to learn the basics of reading and writing.
I have had three college semesters of Arabic and spent this last spring semester of college studying in Morocco working on my Arabic proficiency (I am already fluent in French due to a year spent abroad in Belgium). I am looking for an advanced arabic level teacher with whom to hold conversations as well as learn advanced grammar and vocabulary.
I have had one semester of Swahili and lived with two Kenyas for a semester. I would like to continue learning conversationa lly and continue building my vocabulary.
I am already poly-lingual and am a very quick language learner and very studious. Thank you.
