I am a young aspiring scholar, and I would like to learn greek as my third language because of the effects that early greek culture has had on the western world. I would like to be able to read some of my favourite old stories in their mother language, such as the iliad or the odyssey. I also intend to attend university studying the classics, and greek or latin courses are taken there, so I would like to get a head start on that information.
I have no knowledge as of yet of greek. I have never studied it, and have had very little exposure to it in my life. I am willing to dedicate as much as 2 hours weekly to learning greek, though if it is determined that I would need more then I would be open to the idea.
I am a passionate, musical english and french language writer, looking to expand my horizons.

Hey,
Im a beginer... although I'm born into a greek family I only know bits and pieces of greek and cypriot.
After I finish year 12 I would like to travel around greece and cyprus and I would like to be quite familiar with the language.
I would like one lesson a week as I work and still attend school full-time.
