I am wanting to learn croatian as it is my background and would like to be able to communicate in croatian to/with my family, both in australia and overseas. I would be a beginner learner and know a little bit of the basics. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible but 1-3 times per week depending on how things are (balance between school, work and croatian). I would like to learn Japanese as I am going to Tokyo in December for a wedding. I used to have a Japanese homestay girl 5 years ago and have remained very good friends with her and she is who is getting married.
I am very much a beginner, I know a few words due to Tomoko living with me in the past and my sister has also lived and worked in Japan.
I would like to have at least one lesson per week and I would like to be able to have a conversation with Tomoko's mother and father as they both do not speak english.
I would also like to say a small speech at the wedding.
I am looking for a teacher who will be patient with me and does not mind me asking lots of questions.
