I am a beginner, at best, in the Japanese language. I wish to learn because I love the culture and languages. I am also considering going to teach English in Japan and want to have a moderate command of the language to allow me to peak over the language barrier. I will dedicate as much time as my teacher will allow and would like a serious tone to the lessons. I am a friendly person, but I also am serious about studying. I'd also like a bit of flexibility to compensate for my ignorance in certain areas of Japanese culture and customs.

~ Proficiency level = beginner
~ Reason for learning = been living in Tokyo for 2 years already but have not picked up the language at all, and feel that it is a waste if I leave here without knowing the language. Plus, it could be a advantage for a job search in the future.

Dear potential Teacher,
I would like my youngest son aged 16 to have live in person language tuition (Japanese). He has had some tution in Japanese when he was in Ipoh. He needs to be re-evaluated to establish his level of profiency. I would like him to be proficient in grammer, conversation and also writing. Preferably time allotment about 2 hours on a saturday morning.
I am loking forward to a teacher who is flexible, frank and forthright and does not charge exorbitant rates. If the teacher is around Kajang, Bangi or Serdang I am prepared to sednd my child there for the tuition.
