I wish to learn Hindi. I am a novice, and wish to learn for personal reasons, rather than professional (I am ethnically Indian). I essentially have no conversationa l ability in the language, and barely can understand. I would like to receive about one hour a week of formal instruction, and I will be able to dedicate more time on my own. I am looking for a teacher with experience in teaching novices, who has an organized curriculum already developed, so that I will be able to proceed methodically.
