I would like to learn Mandarin because it is the predominant language in Singapore other than English and many of my friends speak it. Also, I believe it would help in business interactions. I have never taken a Mandarin class before, though I have studied 3 other languages. I'm looking to spend 3 days a week learning, about 1.5 hrs each and I'm looking for a teacher that has a very structured course but is flexible to answer questions or deviate from the lessons a bit to tailor my learning.

I am interested in learning Mandarin Chinese for business reasons. I am a true beginner. I am very serious about learning Chinese and I'm willing to dedicate myself completed. I want to learn foreign languages because I think it's important for people to be able to speak more than one language. It's essential to communicate with other people around the world, and gives you the opportunity to do so. I plan on doing alot of traveling in my life, and I know that learning other languages will definitely help. And not to mention the benefits it holds in the work place.

I am very much interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin) because I find it to be a very beautiful language.
Although I've tried to pick up some basic phrases in chinese, I am very much a beginner but would like to put forth the effort to overcome that.
I am looking to dedicate at least 2 to 3 hours a week to this language because anymore than that I feel would be counterproduc tive.
I am would like a teacher that is patient, flexible, and passionate about the language they are teaching.
