I was born in Iran and moved to the United States when I was 6. I can speak Farsi, but cannot read, or write, so I would like to learn as soon as possible.
I believe that once I can learn the alphabet, I can easilty read and from there learn to write. My biggest challenge will be learning the sounds. I would like to dedicate a couple sessions per week, until I learn to read and write fluently.
I would like a teacher who focuses on learning fast. I am a quick learner and a UD Davis college graduate. I learn from seeing and doing.

My first language is farsi and I am able to speak it at a basic level as I only use it at home. However, I can neither read nor write. I want to learn to read in order to read Ferdowsi, Hafez, Rumi, etc. I am willing to dedicate as much time as necessary. I am looking for an instructor who can cater to my specific needs. I am a fast learner and plan to learn fast, therefore I need to be taught quickly and effectively.

I would like to learn Farsi in order to better communicate with my Persian friends (I have many). I am a beginner and know a small amount of Farsi. At this point I would like to improve my conversation ability and vocabulary. I am looking to spend 2-3 hours/week with an instructor. I am looking for someone who can teach me proper stucture and who is willing to sit and have conversations in Farsi.
